Eligible applicants and current holders of .edu domain names must use this website to register and manage their .edu domain names. Please bookmark this page to access the portal for future use. Please note that registering a .edu domain name does not establish an ownership right to the name. Registering a .edu domain name entitles the registrant to use the domain name for the registration period selected, which the registrant may subsequently renew per the terms and conditions provided in the .edu Customer Service Agreement (CSA).

Before you buy a custom domain through Shopify, check the price and availability of your domain name by using Shopify's domain name generator. The exact price of domains that are bought through Shopify depends on which top-level domain (TLD) extension you choose. The availability of TLDs is subject to change.

The domain name generator displays the availability of your chosen domain name, as well as other available TLDs and alternative domain names. If your chosen domain name or TLD isn't available, then you can choose one of the suggested options or start a new search.

After you buy a domain, you must verify your email address to complete your domain registration. Check your email account for several emails from Shopify that you need to review. These emails include details about the following:

If you don't receive an email about verifying your email address, then check your email inbox's spam folder or resend the verification email from your Shopify admin. If you don't verify your email address, then your domain might be suspended.

If you already own a domain through Shopify that's registered with the same first name, last name, and email address, then your email address might be verified automatically. If your email address is verified automatically, then you won't receive an email about verifying your email address.

If a registry organization contacts you to verify your domain, then you need to provide proof of your registration information. Each registry organization has different requirements for what kinds of documentation you can provide, for example, a passport, business bills, or proof of business address. If you change your business address or have difficulty proving your registration information, then contact Shopify Support.

The following domain extensions don't include WHOIS privacy when you buy a custom domain through Shopify. If you buy one of these domain extensions, then your personal contact information is available in public domain registration records.

If you upgrade to iCloud+, you can purchase a custom email domain and use it with iCloud Mail. You can also add a domain you already own to iCloud. See Add an email domain you already own to iCloud Mail on iCloud.com.

You and Other People: Choose this option if you want to share the domain with friends or family members. You can now choose who can use the domain. See Add or remove people sharing a custom email domain on iCloud.com.

App Service domains are custom domains that are managed directly in Azure. They make it easy to manage custom domains for Azure App Service. This article shows you how to buy an App Service domain and configure an App Service app with it.

You can also create an App Service domain independently from an app by going to the App Service Domains view and select Add, or navigating to the create page directly. But since it's independent from your app, you won't be able to assign hostnames like www to your app as if you launch it from your app's Custom domains page.

If you didn't launch the App Service domain wizard from an app's Custom domains page, you won't see this tab. You can still add them later by following the steps at Map a hostname manually.

Select Next: Tags and set the tags you want for your App Service domain. Tagging isn't required for using App Service domains, but is a feature in Azure that helps you manage your resources.

App Service Domains use GoDaddy for domain registration and Azure DNS to host the domains. In addition to the yearly domain registration fee, usage charges for Azure DNS apply. For information, see Azure DNS Pricing.

If launched from an app's Custom domains page, the App Service domain wizard already lets you map the root domain (like contoso.com) and the www subdomain (like www.contoso.com) to your app. You can map any other subdomain to your app, like shoppingcart (as in shoppingcart.contoso.com).

For TLS/SSL certificate, select App Service Managed Certificate if your app is in Basic tier or higher. If you want to remain in Shared tier, or if you want to use your own certificate, select Add certificate later.

To map from an App Service domain in a different subscription, see Map an externally purchased domain. In this case, Azure DNS is the external domain provider, and you need to add the required DNS records manually.

If you selected App Service Managed Certificate earlier, wait a few minutes for App Service to create the managed certificate for your custom domain. When the process is complete, the red X becomes a green check mark with Secured. If you selected Add certificate later, this red X will remain until you add a private certificate for the domain and configure the binding.

The App Service domain you bought is valid for one year from the time of purchase. You can configure to renew your domain automatically, which will charge your payment method when your domain renews the following year. You can also manually renew your domain name.

From the left navigation of the domain, select Domain renewal. To start renewing your domain automatically, select On, otherwise select Off. The setting takes effect immediately. If automatic renewal is enabled, on the day after your domain expiration date, Azure attempts to bill you for the domain name renewal.

If the cancellation period on the purchased domain hasn't elapsed, select Cancel purchase. Otherwise, you see a Delete button instead. To delete the domain without a refund, select Delete.

The number of App Service domains a subscription can have depends on the subscription type. Subscriptions that have a monthly credit allotment, like Visual Studio Enterprise Subscription, have a limit of 1 App Service domain. To increase your limit, convert to a pay-per-use subscription.

This is not a DNS resolution scenario. By default, App Service directs web requests to the root directory of your app code. To direct them to a subdirectory, such as public, see Redirect to a custom directory.

To host custom email addresses in Zoho Mail, you can either use the domain you already own or purchase a new one. In case you want to purchase a new domain, you can do so right from your Zoho Mail Admin Console during or after sign-up. Purchasing a new domain via Zoho allows us to automatically verify and configure the email delivery (MX records) which in turn gives you a hassle-free experience.

Zoho Mail facilitates the registration of domains for customers by partnering with certain Domain registrars. While your domain registration is being enabled through Zoho Mail, your Whois data storage and any domain renewal process among others are handled by the relevant domain registrar.

The DNS manager of a domain is a panel where you can add, edit, and/or access the DNS records of the respective domain. You will need access to the DNS manager to setup protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC among other requirements.

After purchasing your domain via Zoho, an email with the domain activation link will be sent to the mail address you provided during registration. Only after you confirm the account using the link provided in the email, the domain will be activated. In case you have not received the email or missed the email, you can resend the activation email from your Domain Manager.

When you register a new domain, the details of your registration like the address, telephone numbers, and email address will be linked to your domain and will be stored in the WHOIS directory as per the IETF standards.

There are a number of tools available online, which can provide the WHOIS information linked with the domain, upon request with the domain name. Personal details like your email address, phone number, and so on can also be acquired easily using your domain name. Hence to protect such confidential information from spammers or telemarketers, it is better to opt for a Private Registration option as explained below.

You can choose the 'Private Registration' option during domain purchase to make your contact details private. Choosing 'Private Registration' will make sure that the information connected to your domain is kept unavailable for public view via WHOIS queries. If you didn't opt for private registration during the purchase of your domain, you can do so from your Admin Console for domains purchased via Zoho.

You will be charged an additional fee as private registration charges on the card you provided during. In case you have not opted for auto-renewal, you will have to provide the card details again during private registration. Reach out to support@zohomail.com for more details.

When you register a new domain via Zoho, you need not worry about the hassles of renewal. If your domain is set for auto-renewal, it will be renewed each year with the same card details you provide during registration.

If in case you want to manually renew the domain you purchased via Zoho, you can do so as well. Once it's time for renewal, you will receive an email reminder for domain renewal. Following that, to renew your domain, 041b061a72
